The PARKARTS Biennial offers an original, life-size contemporary art experience in Brussels. This exhibition, designed to introduce today's art to all audiences, invites you to take an artistic stroll through Auderghem, Woluwe-Saint-Pierre and Woluwe-Saint-Lambert.
The complex link between culture and nature as well as environmental concerns in contemporary artistic creation are the common thread of the Biennial. The works/interventions are based on the desire to establish an artistic, poetic or sensitive dialogue with the "ordered" nature of contemporary parks while questioning the societal issues of our century. By linking culture and landscape worlds, the event praises the fragility, transience, ephemerality and precarious balances to be preserved in man's relationship with his environment. Under the theme "Novation", the 2021 edition presents works created in situ by 30 visual artists from 9 countries.
